一般描述
(−)-石竹烯氧化物(BCPO)属于食品和化妆品质量控制用香料和香精标准品类。它是β-石竹烯(BCP)的氧化衍生物,也是一种双环倍半萜烯分子, 它已被鉴定为各种药用和食用植物精油(包括丁香油,丹参花油等)的重要成分。该化合物在平滑肌制剂中有松弛作用,并在心脏中充当钙通道阻滞剂,因而可用于治疗高血压。它有多种用途,可用作镇痛药、肿瘤抑制剂、食品调味剂、香水和化妆品成分等。
应用
(−)-石竹烯氧化物可用作以下分析中的分析标准品:通过对豚鼠分离的乳头状肌和心室肌细胞进行实验,研究其对心肌的影响、作为钙通道阻滞剂的能力、对钾电流的抑制作用。采用兴奋排斥测试(excito-repellency test )系统,确定其作为接触性刺激物的效率以及对埃及伊蚊和微小按蚊的实验室菌株的非接触性驱避活性。将结果与合成驱虫剂N,N-二乙基-3-甲基苯甲酰胺(DEET)进行了比较。
