一般描述
正己醇是一种直链伯醇。它在纤维素的催化转化过程中形成中间体。1,1,3,3-四甲基胍（TMG）在正己醇溶剂系统中捕获二氧化碳的能力已得到评估。正己醇中轻富勒烯的溶解度作为温度和压力的函数已得到研究。
正己醇是由椰子油和棕榈油制成的。它可用于生产防腐剂、香精和香水。正己醇也被用作增塑剂生产中的溶剂。
应用
正己醇已被用作研究嗅觉反应 和稀释聚（4-乙烯基苯酚）（PVP）介电层的气味剂。
