General description
Pyrazoxyfen is used as a pre- or post-emergence herbicide for the weed control in annual and perennial crops.
Application
Pyrazoxyfen may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
- Shellfish and human serum samples by QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) extraction followed by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) detection.
- Food matrices by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) with MRM detection.
