一般描述

苯甲酸钠是苯甲酸的钠盐。溶于水后得到弱碱性溶液。它具有防腐性能。已提出用高效液相色谱法测定果汁、苏打水、酱油、番茄酱、花生酱、奶油干酪等食品中的防腐性能。它是美国食品药品监督管理局批准的无毒药物。它可通过苯甲酸和碳酸氢钠/氢氧化钠溶液之间的酸碱反应获取。

苯甲酸钠可用作Knoevenagel缩合反应的催化剂,用于合成碳-碳键。

应用
