应用
使用链霉蛋白酶在研究应用中完全水解蛋白质。链霉蛋白酶被应用于DNA和RNA分离过程中蛋白质的降解，如噬菌体DNA的提取或质粒DNA的分离。使用前不必让链霉蛋白酶自行消化。它也被用于组织化学和细胞培养中，与胶原酶和胰蛋白酶一起进行组织分离， 并被用于从纯化的糖蛋白中产生糖肽。它已可用于斑马鱼胚胎的脱色。
生化/生理作用
链酶蛋白酶具有广泛的特异性。因此，当需要广泛或完全降解蛋白质时，通常使用该产品。其应用包括细胞器中的蛋白质分析、DNA 和 RNA 分离过程中蛋白质的去除，以及用于生产用于氨基酸分析的蛋白质水解产物。此外，链霉蛋白酶分散成纤维细胞系的能力优于胰蛋白酶，在单层分离和单细胞悬液的产生方面均表现出色。
单位定义
在+40℃和pH7.5条件下，非特异性蛋白酶活性的单位增加了酪蛋白中福林-阳性氨基酸和肽的释放速度。一单位(U)可释放1μmol/min酪氨酸，单位“PU”为1 μg/min (1 U=181 PU)；单位“PUK”为0.1/min(测量的是与folin ′s试剂反应条件下形成的钼蓝吸光度变化，1PUK=50PU)。
制备说明
稳定剂：钙离子保护效应：
该制剂中含20%的醋酸钙，用于其稳定性。按照现行的质量控制程序，它不含淀粉。含有0.01-0.1M钙的稀释溶液，在4到8℃的中性pH下，其活性在24小时内是稳定的。链霉素蛋白酶也可以通过低水平的钙来防止热失活。
工作溶液浓度：0.5 到 2 mg/ml
工作溶液：建议溶剂为蒸馏水。
在蒸馏水(10-20 mg/ml)中加入联袂蛋白酶粉，制得储液。
保存条件（工作溶液）：-15至-25 °C
