生化/生理作用

腺苷5′-O-(3-硫代三磷酸)(ATP-γ-S)是ATP依赖性酶系统的底物和抑制剂。可被磷酸酶和大多数ATP酶缓慢水解。硫代磷酸化后的蛋白可抗蛋白磷酸酶作用。ATP-γ-S可作为损伤相关分子模式分子(DAMP)和NLR家族热蛋白结构域相关蛋白3(NLRP3)炎性小体激活剂。作为APT类似物，ATP-γ-S可用作真核细胞翻译起始因子-4A(eIF4A)催化RNA诱导核苷酸水解和RNA解旋活动的底物。
