生化/生理作用
溶菌酶水解切割粘多糖和肽聚糖相应聚糖骨架(后者是与肽链连接或交联的糖胺聚糖)中N-乙酰-D-葡糖胺与N-乙酰胞壁酸残基(GlcNAc β1-4Mur)之间的键。溶菌酶能有效破坏细菌的细胞壁。

一个Shugar单位是指:在+25°C下,在1 ml pH7.0的溶壁微球菌( Micrococcus luteus )悬浮液中,在450nm波长处的初始吸光度为0.750,路径长度为10mm,引起吸光度以每分钟0.001的速率降低的酶量。

工作溶液:盐酸溶菌酶易溶于水和缓冲溶液,但不溶于有机溶剂。
