ββ-半乳糖苷酶或β-D-半乳糖苷半乳糖水解酶是由4条相同的各含1023个氨基酸的肽链组成的四聚体。对D-半乳糖表现高度专一性,完全激活需要K+或Na+和Mg2+。ββ-半乳糖苷酶催化含氧苷键的β-d-吡喃半乳糖苷的反应。

制备说明
