This live cell probe can be used for staining of purified exosomal protein, which allows imaging in the red fluorescence range of labeled exosomes taken up by cells.
General description
Exosomes are a form of extracellular vesicle (EV), which may contribute to malignant conversion and cancer metastasis. Intercellular communication via exosomes has therefore attracted significant interest in the cancer research and cell communication disciplines. To investigate these interactions, labeling techniques based on fluorescent dyes have been optimized.
The BioTracker™ exosome protein labeling probe series can be used for staining the proteins of purified exosomes, which in turn permits imaging of labeled exosomes taken up by cells.SCT268, SCT269, and SCT270 are optimized for the labeling of exosomal proteins. Three different fluorescence colors (green, red, far red) enable application in multiplexing experiments, such as observation of exosome localization in organelles.The exosome labeling probe products contain filtration tubes for the removal of dyes unreacted after fluorescence labeling, as well as an optimized protocol for labeling exosomes. Add 10 uL DMSO to tube of green, red, or far red exosome protein dye to create stock solution.SPECTRAL PROPERTIES:Ex 561 nm/Em 570-640 nm
