This mouse monoclonal antibody, Cat. No. MABX36, is tested for use in Lateral Flow Assay and ELISA, for the detection of Norovirus GII.

Noroviruses are a genetically diverse positive stranded RNA virus of the Caliciviridae family. Genotypes I, II and IV can cause the sudden onset of sever vomiting and diarrhea.  The virus is highly contagious and commonly spread through contaminated food, water and through close contact with infected persons.
