一般描述

中枢神经系统多巴胺能系统的问题被认为是某些神经精神疾病的根本原因。多巴胺D2受体是多巴胺的五种类型(D1至D5)受体之一。该受体的活性由抑制腺苷酸环化酶的G蛋白介导。使用Nurr1和ERK的多巴胺D2受体信号传导可能在中脑多巴胺能神经元发育中起重要作用。有缺陷的D2受体在ROS依赖性高血压病例中很常见。此外,DRD2的缺陷与酒精反应性肌张力障碍,对家族性酒精中毒的易感性不同以及酗酒者自杀风险的促成因素有关。
