General description
STING，也称为mSTING，或内质网干扰素刺激物、ERIS、IRF3激活的介体、MMITA或跨膜蛋白173，由基因Tmem 173/Eris/Mita/Mpys/Sting编码，是先天免疫信号传导的促进剂，其充当来自细菌和病毒的胞质DNA的传感器并促进I型干扰素的产生。STING通过识别和结合细菌产生的第二种信使环状di-GMP（c-di-GMP）和细胞溶质中响应DNA病毒产生的信使环状GMP-AMP（cGAMP）起作用。结合后，STING能够激活NF-κB和IRF3转录途径以诱导I型干扰素的表达并发挥有效的抗病毒状态。STING还通过激活ERK途径介导细胞死亡信号传导。STING存在于多个细胞内位置，包括内质网、浆细胞膜、线粒体外膜和核周区域。STING在未成熟和成熟B细胞的B细胞谱系中表达，但在浆细胞中不表达。STING中的突变导致先天免疫缺陷和免疫健康受损。
