General description

p62也称为sequestosome-1,是62 kDa ras-GAP相关蛋白。p62被认为与Src家族酪氨酸激酶结合,并且还可以为活化的Src家族激酶及其下游效应子提供接头作用。p62具有RNA结合区,可能具有RNA结合能力。p62与转录因子NF-κB的激活有关,参与细胞分化、免疫反应和钾通道调节。p62最近与外在细胞凋亡有关,可能是肿瘤发生的关键因素。
观测分子量约47-60 kDa。
该蛋白的计算分子量为47 kDa,在38 kDa处也具有亚型。由于修饰,在某些裂解物中可观察到高达〜60 kDa的该蛋白。
