General description

神经丝是一种中间丝,可作为支持轴突细胞质的细胞骨架的主要元素。它们是轴突中最丰富的原纤维成分,平均频率是轴突微管的3-10倍。神经丝(直径10nm)由三个相互缠绕的原纤维构建而成,原纤维本身由单体蛋白质的两个四聚体原丝复合物组成。神经丝三联体蛋白(68/70、160和200 kDa)同时存在于中枢神经系统和周围神经系统中,通常是神经元特异性的。68/70 kDa NF-L蛋白可以自组装成丝状结构,但是160 kDa NF-M和200 kDa NF-H蛋白需要68/70 kDa NF-L蛋白的存在才能共组装。神经瘤、神经节瘤、神经节神经胶质瘤、神经节神经母细胞瘤和神经母细胞瘤的神经丝染色呈阳性。尽管通常仅限于神经元,但已在神经节旁瘤以及肾上腺和肾上腺嗜铬细胞瘤中检测到神经丝。类癌、皮肤神经内分泌癌和肺燕麦细胞癌也表达神经丝。有关更多神经丝信息和表位图谱,请在我们的网站上搜索“neurofilament(神经丝)”。
