一般描述
整合素β-1（UniProt P05556；也被称为CD29、糖蛋白Iia、GPIIA、整合素VLA-4亚基β、极晚激活蛋白、β多肽）在人体中由ITGB1（也被称为FNRB、MDF2、MSK12、VLA-BETA、VLAB）基因（基因ID 3688）进行编码。 整合素β-1是一种130 kDa的跨膜糖蛋白，可与多种整合素α亚基（包括α1、α2、α3、α4、α5和α6）相互作用，形成与特定细胞外基质结合的功能性受体复合物蛋白。整合素受体可调节多种重要的生物学功能，包括胚胎发育、伤口修复、止血和防止程序性细胞死亡。它们还涉及异常的病理状态，例如肿瘤定向的血管生成、肿瘤生长和转移。这些异二聚体受体将细胞质肌动蛋白细胞骨架与细胞外基质和/或相邻细胞中存在的蛋白质进行桥接。整合素与细胞外基质之间的相互作用会导致信号转导途径的激活和基因表达的调节。
