一般描述
整合素是介导细胞-细胞和细胞外基质粘连的二聚体蛋白家族。 每种VLA亚型（VLA-1、VLA-2、 VL-3、 VLA-4、 VLA-5）由以非共价形式连接共同β亚基的不同α亚基组成，是一种α-β二聚体。 整合素VLA-3（非常晚期的抗原，α-3/β-1）是一种细胞表面受体，结合纤维连接蛋白、层粘连蛋白以及I和VI型胶原蛋白。VLA-3 通常仅存在于正常组织中，但是在许多培养的肿瘤细胞中广泛表达，并且与恶性黑色素瘤细胞的侵入程度有关。
特异性
识别与VLA-3复合物（α-3/β-1整合素）相关的表位。通过免疫沉淀，从35S--甲硫氨酸标记的KJ29细胞的去污剂提取物中确定了特异性。

ELISA/RIA
免疫沉淀 当免疫沉淀的样品在a) 非还原条件下进行SDS-PAGE时，将检测到表观分子量为110和150kDa的两个条带，在b) 还原条件（2% B-ME）下，检测到单种分子量为130kDa的物质。在还原条件下，α3和β1亚基都表现出相同的表观分子量。
最佳工作稀释度必须由最终用户进行确定。
抗整合素α3β1 抗体（克隆M-KID2 ）可检测整合素α3β1 的水平 & 已有相关文献发表&经验证可用于ELISA、IP、RIA、IC、IH（P）。
