一般描述

异质核核糖核蛋白Q,常被称为hnRNP Q,由于单个基因的可变剪接存在三种不同亚型。该RNA结合蛋白与运动神经元(SMN)蛋白存活所需的mRNA 前体剪接的控制有关。SMN的功能丧失性突变与一种常见的神经退行性疾病,脊髓性肌肉萎缩症(SMA)有关。研究显示hnRNP Q 蛋白与SMN相互作用,这种相互作用是高效的体外pre-mRNA剪接所必需的。当前数据表明hnRNP Q 是SMN的剪接调节因子。

应用
