Biolab Agar Bacteriological is a special grade of agar, purified and tested for general microbiological use. The recommended amount used in solid media is 12g per litre or up to 15g if liquids such as blood are to be incorporated. 0.05 - 0.2% agar added to liquid media will promote growth of anaerobes.
