表皮生长因子(EGF)是刺激多种表皮和上皮细胞增殖的多肽生长因子。人EGF是一个含有53个氨基酸残基的分子量为6.2 kDa的蛋白质。

应用

对于大多数体外应用,EGF在0.5至25.0 ng/mL的浓度范围内发挥其生物学活性。响应细胞包括(部分列表):表皮间皮细胞。

从无菌过滤的10 mM磷酸钠(pH 7.5)冻干,不含添加剂。

储存及稳定性

冻干EGF尽管在室温下稳定,但最好在-20°C下干燥保存。 用水复溶成浓度为0.1 - 1 mg/mL。可以将该溶液稀释到其他缓冲溶液中,并在4°C下保存1周或-20°C以备将来使用。复溶的EGF应以未稀释的等分试样在-20°C下保存长达一年。

分析说明

比活度:与标准品相比,人EGF具有完全的生物活性。根据其对BALB/c 3T3细胞的剂量依赖性促有丝分裂活性确定的ED50为≤ 0.1 ng/mL
