General description

生长激素（GH）是一种23 kDa的循环垂体激素，大鼠GH在其GH序列中与小鼠GH具有约97%的同源性，与人蛋白具有约65%的同源性。生长激素的主要作用对象为中枢神经系统。在动物模型中，该激素针对神经退化性刺激产生神经保护作用，并防止缺氧缺血性脑损伤的神经损失。因此，随老化而出现的生长激素水平下降影响大脑功能，并导致记忆和认知损害。该大鼠/小鼠生长激素ELISA用于在代谢&内分泌&细胞信号转导研究中测量&定量生长激素水平。
