General description

7TM-钙黏着蛋白的火烈鸟/CELSR家族的特征是对称的蛋白分布和沿平面细胞极性定义轴在相邻上皮细胞界面处的极化活性。作为细胞外基质的组成部分，CELSR1蛋白特别是在早期神经管内的神经上皮细胞的基底面和发育中的脊髓中线的一组不太明确的心室区细胞中被发现。在胚胎发生和产后发育过程中，CELSR1在沿发育中的小鼠表皮的前–后轴定向卵泡中发挥作用。
观察值〜330 kDa。在某些裂解物中可能观察到约152 kDa的第二种亚型。
在某些细胞裂解物中可能观察到~54 kDa的未表征条带。
