General description
Probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX58 (LGP2), also known as RIG-I-like receptor 3 (RLR-3), is a member of the helicase family (RLR subfamily). LGP2 acts as a regulator of DDX58/RIG-I and IFIH1/MDA5 mediated antiviral signaling. It cannot initiate antiviral signaling since it does not contain the CARD domain required for activating MAVS/IPS1-dependent signaling events.
