ULK1或自噬相关蛋白1同源物(ATG1)是丝氨酸/苏氨酸蛋白激酶。它是一种普遍表达的蛋白,在大脑,骨骼肌和心脏中非常丰富。它参与mTOR受体的信号通路,导致营养缺乏细胞中自噬的调节。mTOR可以作为ULK1/FIP200/Atg13的复合物与ULK1相互作用。ULK1可能在神经元发育中起重要作用:通过靶向断裂ULK1s的激酶结构域来消除ULK1′s的酶活性,可能通过阻断ULK1介导的神经营养因子的运输来阻止发育中的小鼠大脑中神经元的生长。
