Anti-ATG3 Antibody

ATG3 is thought to be an autophagy-related ubiquitin carrier protein (E2)-like enzyme that is the go between for the conjugation on ATG8 and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE). This compound is necessary for autophagy, which is a process in which a cell is degraded by its own lysosomal process.

Other homologies: Ape, rhesus macaque, equine, porcine, and bovine (99% sequence homology). Mouse (98% sequence homology). Rat (97% sequence homology).
