Biochem/physiol Actions
甲状腺刺激素对甲状腺产生轻度持续刺激，从而维持活动的糖蛋白激素。促甲状腺激素（TSH）可调节甲状腺滤泡细胞中T3和T4的释放。TSH主要靶向甲状腺并维持其活动。它可调节甲状腺滤泡细胞中T3和T4激素的释放。TSH与TSH受体（TSHR）结合并触发Gs和Gq通路。Gs通路的激活刺激碘的摄取、激素分泌和腺体生长。Gq通路参与碘的有机化，用于激素合成。TSH分泌受到生长抑素的抑制。TSH的过度表达会导致甲状腺功能亢进，而TSH表达降低则会导致甲状腺功能减退。
