General description
来自脑垂体的天然人促黄体激素。一种由垂体前叶分泌的异二聚体糖蛋白激素，对排卵、精子发生和性类固醇的生物合成是必需的。调节性类固醇的生物合成和/或分泌。在女性中，LH刺激卵巢中孕激素的合成，Graafian卵泡释放雌激素，排卵诱导和黄体的形成。在男性中，LH刺激睾丸分泌睾酮。生物特异性已归因于β-链。
