Tetraisopropyl Orthotitanate (Titanium Isopropoxide), the alkoxide of Ti(IV), is a widely used precursor of titanium oxide (TiO2) to form thin films, powders, nanomaterials and coatings. It is also employed as a starting material to prepare porous titanosilicates and ion-exchange materials. Tetraisopropyl Orthotitanate is also a material of interest for electronic coating applications.
