General description

对二价阳离子具有高度特异性(Ca2+ > Mg2+ >> Sr2+ = Ba2+)。比抗生素A23187作为Ca2+的移动离子载体更有效。在pH 7和9.5之间与Ca2+的络合,在紫外线范围内产生了显著的吸光值;然而,相比于A23817(货号100105),它是非荧光的。可用于研究Ca2+跨生物膜的运输以及细胞质游离Ca2+的测量。在胚胎皮质神经元中诱导凋亡神经元退化。还可在成熟的伯基特淋巴瘤细胞系的G1间隔期诱导细胞周期阻滞。
