一般描述
胆红素是橙黄色的胆汁色素,是血红蛋白降解的主要代谢终产物之一。含有共轭双键和活泼氢原子。对于成人,正常范围内的胆红素浓度上限为>1mg/dL。新生儿的血清胆红素水平小于15 mg/dl。本品是未结合胆红素。
生化/生理作用
据报道,胆红素可穿过血脑屏障,在脑中发挥重要的抗氧化作用。各种黄疸的变色症状中都有胆红素参与。胆红素水平可作为肝脏和血液病的生物标志物。低浓度的未结合胆红素可作为生理抗氧化剂,但胆红素浓度过高会产生毒性,导致新生儿高胆红素血症。
