General description

一种大环内酯类抗生素，可作为液泡型H+-ATP酶（V型； Ki = 500 pM）的特异性抑制剂。区分不同类型ATP酶的有价值的工具。阻断巨噬细胞溶酶体胆固醇的转运，干扰脑细胞的pH调节。在细胞活力测定中，对多种细胞具有细胞毒性作用。据报道，可选择性地抑制β-分泌酶，这是一种参与淀粉样蛋白前体蛋白（APP）加工的酶。另提供HPLC法测定纯度≥97％、90％ DMSO溶解的InSolution形式（货号508409）。
