Mayer′s 血红素溶液 - 用于显微镜，可用于苏木精-伊红染色（H&E），是应用最广泛的组织学染色技术。使用即用型染色溶液（例如Mayer′s血红素溶液或根据Gill II或1.05174改良的苏木精溶液）实现核染色。这些溶液在使用前不需要过滤，并且染料以受控的方式被氧化，这使得结果稳健并允许对染色结构进行出色的区分。蛋白质、胶原、角蛋白、细胞间物质复染可使用0.5% Eosin Y酒精溶液（产品编号1.02439）或0.5% Eosin Y水溶液（产品编号1.09844）。
