General description

110 kDa

PI3激酶（磷脂酰肌醇3-激酶）负责PI(4,5)P2 的肌醇环 3-位的磷酸化，从而生成PI(3,4,5)P3，后者是一种生存、信号传导和胰岛素作用所必需的强效第二信使。PI3激酶是由85 kDa调节亚基和110 kDa催化亚基组成的异二聚体复合物。生长因子受体的酪氨酸磷酸化产生了用于结合p85的停泊位点（通过其SH2结构域）；p85携带着p110，使其接近膜上的磷脂基质。PI3激酶也受到Ras以及异型三聚体G蛋白的β:γ 亚基激活。.PI3激酶可由渥曼青霉素抑制，渥曼青霉素是研究PI3激酶信号传导通路的有用工具。
