一般描述

上皮细胞转化序列2癌基因(ECT2)是鸟嘌呤核苷酸交换因子或GEF,属于Rho GEF的Dbl家族。ECT2由N端内的2个BRCT域,一个DBL同源域和一个PH域组成。研究表明,ECT2定位于细胞皮层和中央纺锤体,并且它是细胞增生过程中卵裂沟形成的关键部分。已显示仅包含N末端结构域的裂解的ECT2的过表达会引起多核化。作为GEF,已显示它与Rac蛋白,RhoA和RhoC特异性结合。
