Anti-acetylated-Src (Lys430) Antibody

Src is a proto-oncogenic tyrosine kinase belonging to the Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases. This proto-oncogene plays a pivotal role cellular processes such as proliferation, migration, transformation and regulation of embyronic development and cell growth. Src tyrosine kinases transmit integrin-dependent signals for cell movement and proliferation. The study of Src proteins have contributed to the understanding of cancer caused by abnormal cellular signaling.

This antibody recognizes Src acetylated at Lys430.

Western Blot Analysis: 5 µg/mL from a representative lot detected Src on 10 µg of HEK293T cells transfected with myc-tagged Src and CBP.

Western Blot/Peptide Inhibition Assay Analysis: This antibody peptide blocked on HEK293T cells transfected with myc-tagged Src and CBP.

~69 kDa observed.
Endogenous Src has a molecular weight of ~60 kDa; however, the myc tag adds ~9 kDa to the weight of the protein.
