General description
28 kDa
Bak或Bcl2同源拮抗剂是Bcl2蛋白家族的成员。Bcl-2相关蛋白通过形成同源和异源二聚体相互作用。细胞对凋亡刺激的易感性受不同Bcl-2家族蛋白的相对比率控制。研究证明,Bak可加速缺乏生长因子的小鼠淋巴、神经元和成纤维细胞系的凋亡率。该蛋白定位于线粒体,具有诱导细胞凋亡的功能。它与线粒体电压依赖性阴离子通道相互作用并加速其开放,导致膜电位的损失和细胞色素c的释放。暴露于细胞应激后,Bak还与肿瘤抑制因子P53相互作用。
