一般描述
Phencyclidine, commonly known as PCP, is a recreational drug with hallucinogenic and neurotoxic effects. With street names such as "angel dust" or "wet", PCP comes in either powder or liquid forms. Phencyclidine-D5 is a stable-labeled internal standard suitable for quantitation of PCP levels in urine, blood or hair by LC/MS or GC/MS for testing applications in urine drug testing, clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, or isotope dilution methods.
应用
- Quantitative determination in forensic toxicology: Phencyclidine-D5 solution has been utilized as an internal standard for the quantitative determination of phencyclidine in hair samples, both pigmented and nonpigmented, using ion-trap mass spectrometry. This approach is critical in forensic toxicology to ensure precision and reproducibility in drug detection and analysis (Slawson et al., 1996).
