一般描述
MDEA is an illicit recreational drug of the amphetamine and phenethylamine classes. This internal standard is suitable for MDEA testing or isotope dilution methods by GC/MS or LC/MS for clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, or forensic analysis. A 3,4-methylenedioxy derivative of N-ethylamphetamine, MDEA is abused for its psychedelic effects, similar to those of its structural analog MDMA (Ecstasy).
应用
- Pharmacokinetic profiling: Research involving the excretion of MBDB, a related compound to MDEA, in urine, saliva, and sweat after oral administration utilized deuterated analogs like (±)-MDEA-D₅ for accurate measurement in bioanalytical studies. This study highlights the utility of stable isotope-labeled compounds in pharmacokinetic and drug metabolism research (Kintz, 1997).
