  • Therapeutic Monitoring of Cannabidiol and Metabolites: A novel method for therapeutic monitoring of cannabidiol (CBD) and its metabolites, including 7-Hydroxy-CBD, using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry. This method is pivotal for pharmaceutical research, especially in clinical trials where accurate measurement of these compounds in human serum and saliva is crucial (Franco et al., 2022).

  • Pharmacological Effects in Hepatic Systems: Investigated the changes in hepatic phospholipid metabolism in rats treated topically with CBD and exposed to UV irradiation, emphasizing the protective and therapeutic potentials of 7-Hydroxy-CBD against oxidative stress. This study enhances understanding of the bioactive effects of CBD metabolites in biotechnological applications (Biernacki et al., 2021).
