General description

18:1 PDP PE, also referred as 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[3-(2-pyridyldithio)propionate], is a head group modified functionalized lipid. Functionalized lipids mainly act as reporter molecules.

Application

18:1 PDP PE may be used in the preparation of hydrophobized disulfide-linked oligodeoxyribonucleotide (ODN). It may also be used in the preparation of liposomes.
