18:2溶血磷脂酸（LPA）是吉托宁的活性成分，吉托宁是人参的生物活性配体。LPA在植物中通过3-磷酸甘油酰基转移酶（GPAT）的活性合成。LPA合成磷脂酸（PA）及其他磷脂的中间体。自闭症儿童会出现LPA代谢异常。
