应用

18:0-22:6 PA or 1-stearoyl-2-docosahexaenoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt) has been used in liposomes to study its role during coat protein I (COPI) vesicle fission. It has also been used in liposomes to determine the lipid-binding properties of the Praja-1 protein.

Phosphatidic acid (PA) is known to be essential for fission stage of coat protein I (COPI) vesicle formation.
