12:0 PA (1,2-dilauroyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt)) has been used as an internal lipid standard in the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (MALDI FT-ICR MS) analysis. It may be used as a lipid standard:
  • for the quantification of phospholipids by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometryelectrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC/ESI-MS/MS)
  • for the quantification of lipids in cold-pressed rapeseed oils based on direct infusion electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry
  • in liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis
