应用

2-吡啶甲醛已用于:
  • 合成基于壳聚糖的双功能吸附剂。
  • 在存在2-酮-3-脱氧-6-磷酸葡糖醛酸醛缩酶(KDPG)催化剂的条件下,与丙酮酸的醛醇缩合反应形成(S)-4-羟基-2-酮-4-(2′-吡啶基)丁酸酯。
  • 与(S)-(−)-α-甲基苄胺和(R)-(+)-α-甲基苄胺的缩合反应,合成两个手性(S)-(−)-和(R)-(+)席夫碱化合物。

此成分还可与硫代氨基脲结合形成2-吡啶甲醛甲醛硫代氨基甲酸酯配体(L),从而进一步与Ni(II)和Cu(II)盐(MX)络合形成[M(L)2X2]复合物。
