生化/生理作用

o -甲酚酞是一种可逆的 pH 指示剂。反向通路(红紫色至无色)的动力学是缓慢的,因此使其成为检查波纹壁管中流动模式的适当分子。也用于通过 o -甲酚酞络合酮方法比色测定钙含量。在碱性条件 (pH 10-12) 下,钙与 o -甲酚酞结合,形成红色复合物,在 570-575 nm 处有吸光度。
