PQT-12可用作有机场效应晶体管(OFET)的半导体材料。高电荷载体迁移率、良好的成膜性质和稳定性令其可用作通道层（channel layer），从而实现高效的电子设备性能。PQT-12的共轭聚合物结构和电荷储存能力令其可用于能量储存应用，如超级电容器和电池。
