一般描述
由2-碘苯甲酸经酯化反应制得2-碘苯甲酸甲酯。它与醛发生钴催化的环化反应，形成邻苯二甲酸酯衍生物。2-碘苯甲酸甲酯的微生物二羟基化形成非外消旋的碘环己烯羧酸酯中间体。该中间体形成用于制备kibdelone C的前体。
