一般描述
使用不溶性Zeigler-Natta催化剂催化1,6-庚二炔的聚合反应，得到具有含六元环的多烯的可溶性聚合物。钌(II)催化的取代1,6-庚二炔与降冰片烯的反应，得到一个串联[2+2+2]/[4+2]环加成产物和一个[2+2+2]环加成物。目前业内已经研究了在氮气环境下，在N,N-二甲基甲酰胺中以KSCN、KBr和KI为引发剂，1,6-庚二炔与二炔丙基醚的环化共聚合反应。
应用
1,6-庚二炔可用于制备聚(1,6-庚二炔)的自支撑聚合物薄膜。
