据报道，（三异丙基硅基）乙炔在存在钴/Duphos催化剂的情况下不对称加成至α,β,γ,δ-不饱和羰基化合物。据报道，1-溴-3-碘代-5-叔丁基苯和（三异丙基硅基）乙炔之间发生Sonogashira偶联反应。
应用
（三异丙基硅基）乙炔可用作各种α,β-不饱和酮的铑催化不对称炔基化的试剂。也可用作对映选择性合成β-炔基化硝基烷烃的试剂。
