- SeO 2 在 叔丁基过氧化氢存在下与烯烃反应生成烯丙醇，而不形成重排或脱水副产物。该试剂系统也可用于乙炔脂肪酸酯的氧化反应。
- SeO 2 可用于 1,3,5-环庚三烯氧化生成托品酮。
- 哌啶并吲哚与 SeO 2 氧化形成 2-酰基或 3-酰基-吲哚或全芳香族 β-碳化硅，具体取决于起始物料。
- SeO 2 与三甲基氯硅烷反应在原位生成二氯化硒 ，它是一种有效的醇氯化试剂。该试剂是氯化亚砜和其他氯化试剂的更好替代品。
