一般描述
Dess-Martin氧化剂(DMP)是一种高价碘化合物，广泛用作伯/仲醇氧化为醛/酮的温和试剂；酰胺氧化成酰亚胺以及胺脱氢成腈，二硫化物脱氢为砜。也用于将烯烃选择性氧化为环氧化物，作为生产三元环醚的有用反应。DMP还用于将1,2-二醇氧化裂解为醛或酮。可用于合成内酯。
应用
Dess–Martin高碘烷可用作以下反应的氧化剂：
- 一级和二级醇氧化为醛和酮的反应。

- 合成乙炔基氧化醛探针（AlkMGO）。
